Metro Ministries (Denver Metro)
Metro Ministries strives to address food insecurity. With the virus outbreak, Metro Ministries has seen a 5 fold increase in the number of households needing food. We are responding to that need. Since the outbreak of the virus, Metro Ministries has served over 29,000 families, providing enough food for over 1.2 million meals

The Gathering Place (Denver Metro)
The mission of The Gathering Place is to provide a community of safety and hope where positive relationships, choice, and essential resources transform lives. TGP is the only agency in metropolitan Denver specifically dedicated to serving women, transgender individuals, and their children who are experiencing poverty and homelessness.

Food for Hope (Denver Metro)
The mission of Food for Hope is to empower and strengthen the community by providing vital nutrition to children in need. We serve school districts by providing food to students through in-school food banks, weekend food bags, and snack programs.

Mountain Family Center (Northwest)
Mountain Family Center will continue to address food insecurities and access to fresh groceries in Grand and Jackson County. Operating four food pantries alongside a mobile food pantry will ensure distribution of meats, fresh produce, dairy and fruit as well as weekly children's food totes. Food security has always been a primary focus concerning our community goals, these funds help MFC expand outreach and fresh inventory to support current needs.

The Pueblo Fooducates (Pikes Peak)
Coming together as a community helps us survive the tough times so often experienced in Pueblo. The Pueblo Youth Food Council now renamed The Pueblo Fooducates are a group of high school and college students who are interested in learning more about Pueblo's food system. We use our resources as young individuals to raise awareness and disseminate it amongst our peers and the Pueblo County community for improved comprehension of local problems. The primary goal of our work is to put our youth's talents and abilities to good use in the community. Each member has the capability to recognize a problem and we collectively take action to resolve the issue. We are working to gain a better understanding of the food system so that we can provide nutrition education, hunger relief, and food security. Our goal is to raise awareness about the importance of food and the food system in Pueblo County. We also make it easier for those in need to access food and foster healthy food relationships. In today's challenging circumstances, it is critical that the youth generation rise to the occasion and take steps to improve the atmosphere for current and future generations. And as the Pueblo Fooducates, we take pride in our efforts to form community leaders to bring togetherness in the community with the joys of food!

Amazing Grace Colorado dba Aspen Springs Food Pantry (Southwest)

Our Mission Statement: We will love others like Jesus loves people. We will have the same compassion He had for the hungry and poor. We will feed all those who come (without qualification). We will cross the barriers of pride and lack of transportation by delivering food whenever possible. We will carry out our mission without creating an obligation of those we serve.

Integrated Family Community Services (IFCS) (Denver Metro)
Since 1964, IFCS has operated the largest food bank in the south metro Denver area and has provided an immediate response to hunger. In the wake of the pandemic, The Market at IFCS has become a regular source of nutrition for families. In this last year alone, IFCS provided food to 33,000 additional individuals from 2019. We believe now is the time to advance community food security by securing culturally appropriate foods for our neighbors with Latin American and Vietnamese roots.

We Are FARMily (Southeast)

We Are FARMily provides 5th day programming with youth in the fields of Regenerative Practices & Agriculture, Outdoor Education, Making and Health & Wellness in rural southern Colorado. Our mission is that through learning sustainable practices & increasing self-reliance in an ever changing world; students, their families & their communities can create the lives they imagine for themselves. When Covid-19 paused in person programming and impacted the food supplies of our partner communities in March 2020, we launched our Grow Feed Change Project which provides free fruit & vegetable plant starts & seeds to families & community gardens free of charge to eliminate financial barriers blocking access to healthy nutritious food. As knowledge of how the virus is spread & effective methods for preventing its spread became available, we were happy to welcome students to the effort. They responded with enthusiasm & are an integral part of our Grow Feed Change Project's success. This year, two food forests are being added - one in a neighborhood walking distance from the center of town & one at a K-12 school that will expand the incredible learning experiences of the existing garden. These food forests will increase the project's impact while shaping what increasing food security & sovereignty can look like in Colorado and beyond. Centro Cristiano Amistad de Denver (Denver Metro)
Our purpose is to help people to connect with God to become everything God wants for them, but we understand that we cannot listen to God when physical or emotional needs are not covered and that is why we serve all people in all the areas of their lives, spiritually, emotionally and physically. We have served the Hispanic community for over 20 years, we have activities in Denver, Aurora, and Arvada. Denver is where we have our food pantry and different programs to serve the community.

Sharing Ministries Food Bank (West Central)
Sharing Ministries Food Bank distributes food to families in need 5 days per week. We serve Montrose, Delta, San Miguel, Ouray, and Gunnison Counties. Our mission is to provide nutritious food to those in need while facilitating education about healthy living and a connection to other community resources.

St. George Episcopal Church (Northwest)

Since 1995, St. George Episcopal Church has used food to build, strengthen and unite the Lake County community by providing nourishing meals and a walk-in food pantry in a welcoming, safe and open environment to anyone regardless of circumstance.

Valley Food Partnership (West Central)
Valley Food Partnership serves the Western Slope of CO with a mission to strengthen the regional food system and community well-being through education, access to quality local foods, and promotion of sustainable agricultural practices. Growing Home, Inc. (Denver Metro)

Growing Home is dedicated to creating a thriving and equitable north Denver metro area, one family at a time. Our participant-centered approach to strengthening families, nurturing children and connecting community fills a critical gap for families and children who are experiencing immediate and long-term barriers to stability and success. Through evidenced-based programs, we improve outcomes for children, their parents and their community. Our model makes us a leader in the two-generation approach to poverty alleviation and community equity. Growing Home’s mission is to guide children and their families on the path to a brighter future. We envision our community working together so that all children and their families have a place to call home, food on the table, and the opportunity to pursue their dreams. Growing Home supports strong families and thriving communities by providing services that Strengthen Families, Nurture Children, and Connect Community.

Strengthening Families services provide a continuum of basic needs supports like food and housing in a participant-centered approach so families can overcome obstacles and build lifelong stability, resiliency, and healthy habits. Services in this area include a food pantry, utility assistance, homelessness prevention assistance, affordable & transformational housing, Collaborative Coaching for family success, and referrals for medical care and other essential services.

Nurturing Children services help parents acquire the skills and resources they need to ensure their children and future generations are on a path to a brighter future. This includes education and coaching on child development and parenting practices that help prepare kids for a lifetime of success. Our programs are evidence-based and support a two-generation approach to poverty alleviation, and those services include Parents as Teachers Home Visitation and Seedlings classes for new and expecting parents.

Connecting Community supports thriving and equitable communities by tapping into the resiliency and leadership of the families with whom we work. We focus on connecting our families to each other as well as other community members. In this way, we create a foundation where everyone shares in the responsibility of solving community problems and creating sustainable outcomes for all. Many families who are currently receiving services and have previously received services from Growing Home are engaging in collective action to improve their community. Additionally, many have the desire to give back by volunteering and sharing their own knowledge. Services in this area include Community Organizing, Advocacy, and Volunteerism.

Our vision is to join with the community to restore hope, spiritual wholeness, and productive independent living to the hurting, the hungry, and homeless. Our mission is to collaborate with local agencies, networking to mobilize services to provide food, clothing, and short-term emergency housing--joining with the community to provide relief, rehabilitation, and empowerment.

Springs Food Pantry (Pikes Peak)
We are a No Boundaries Pantry serving Southern Colorado for over 25 years. Our goal and Mission is to feed as many and help as many families as we possibly can by supplying healthy and fresh produce, dairy, meat, and non perishable food items. During these extremely hard times, we are seeing more need then ever before making it challenging to provide the supplies needed.

Tri-Lakes Cares (Pikes Peak)

Tri-Lakes Cares is a community-based, volunteer-supported resource center whose mission is to improve people’s lives through emergency, self-sufficiency, and relief programs. Funds will be used to provide emergency food services to families impacted by COVID-19, and to increase food security.

Baca County Food Bank (Southeast)
We are the only Food Bank in Baca County and we have regular distribution day and are also available to fill emergency food boxes 7 days a week. Each of our boxes contains enough food for approximately 14 days and we are open for regular distribution on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month. Our goal is that no one in Baca County should ever have to go hungry.

Routt County Council on Aging (Northwest)

The mission of Routt County Council on Aging is to identify the needs of the seniors in Routt County and to make every effort to meet those needs with appropriate action. We are the only nonprofit in our county to serve exclusively those age 60 and older.

Project Worthmore (Denver Metro)
Our mission is to provide programs that foster community, self-sufficiency and increase quality of life among Denver-area refugees.

Renew, Inc. (Southwest)
Renew, Inc. is a community based agency that support victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Renew services include crisis shelter for those seeking safety for themselves and their children. Renew's crisis shelter provided 1,329 nights of shelter for 63 clients 2020. Shelter services provide 3 meals a day for residents, and also include pantry staples and fresh produce for non-residential clients when needed.

Homeward Alliance (North Central)
Our mission is to empower individuals and families who face homelessness to survive, move forward and thrive.

Montezuma Food Coalition dba the Sharehouse (Southwest)

Our primary purpose is to provide centrally located infrastructure and staffing to support local food assistance groups, whose demand for food has tripled with no sign of slowing down. Without us, our partners would not be able to offer any where near the volume of food that their clients need.

Florence Senior Community Center (Pikes Peak)
Our mission is to enhance the lives of seniors, the disabled, the economically challenged, and veterans, in our region via our congregate lunch program, and other food distribution programs, and through educational, health, and social programs and events.

Golden Backpack Program (Denver Metro)
BGOLDN is a food security organization in Golden, CO, that is committed to telling the story of hunger in our community and working with the entire community to address it. Our programs work to feed our community today, while working to promote good health and eliminate hunger in the future.

A Woman’s Place (North Central)
Our mission is to shelter and help empower victims/survivors of domestic abuse to become safe, secure, and self-sufficient; and through education and collaboration to mobilize our community to help prevent domestic violence.

Hope Communities (Denver Metro)

Hope Communities' mission is to strengthen communities and provide pathways to economic and personal opportunity through affordable housing, educational programs and support services.

Conscious Alliance (Denver Metro)
We support communities in crisis through hunger relief and youth empowerment. We donate and deliver meals and snacks to build the capacity of food pantries and school meal programs.

Thompson School District (North Central)

We have been feeding children in alternate ways (including curbside pick up, home delivery, bus routes, classrooms / hallways) since COVID began. As we plan for the summer months we would like to reach as many families as possible and increase access to healthy food. This funding will aide us in expanding our capacity for serving our most vulnerable children.

Restoration Outreach Programs (Denver Metro)

ROP’s mission is meeting needs, building relationships, and restoring lives through Christ in the East Colfax community. “Meeting Needs” includes offering programs—Food Bank, ESL classes, Work Readiness, and youth mentoring/academic support—designed to move participants toward self-sufficiency.

Our goal is to eliminate food insecurity in and around Rocky Ford, CO.

Nederland Food Pantry (Denver Metro)
The mission of the Nederland Food Pantry is to relieve hunger and to provide basic needs support to the Peak to Peak community in a respectful and compassionate manner.

Senior Matters Because Seniors Matter/Valley Meals and More Program (Northwest)
Valley Meals and More’s mission is to enhance the wellness of older adults in the region by
providing access to nutritious daily meals, connection to community members, and access to support services, to allow older residents to age in place, safely, independently and with dignity. Vision: to collaborate with public and private partners, throughout the region, to provide meals and services to allow older adults to remain in their homes and/or within their community for as long as they desire.

Reaching Out to Community and Kids (Southwest)
Our mission is to build a stronger, healthier, and more prosperous community by providing access to healthful food, youth enrichment activities, and community activities and events that are otherwise not available in our rural area.

Struggle of Love Foundation (Denver Metro)
The Struggle of Love Foundation offers alternatives to those with limited opportunities, that may not qualify for any other community-based assistance programs. Our goal is to give back to the community in areas of struggle. For many years our work has included providing a food pantry for those in need of food resources. We serve children, youth, and adults.

Evergreen Christian Outreach (ECHO) (Denver Metro)
EChO’s mission is to assist people in our community with their basic and urgent needs and to help them realize their potential on a path to self-sufficiency. EChO’s food pantry decreases food instability, our Client Services team offers wrap-around case management and crisis intervention, our shelter provides safety warmth and comfort to those experiencing homelessness, and our Job Center assists those who may be unemployed or underemployed.

Youth Empowerment Agency (Denver Metro)
Youth Empowerment Agency's goal is to provide youth with resources to live healthy lives. Currently during covid-19 a lot of our families are either out of work or struggling to find work, so burden is heavy on them. Some are not receiving food assistance, or dealing with delays with unemployment. So, this would be a way for us to provide assistance with food while they are getting set up with long term services. As well as an option to provide monetary assistance for support in other areas.

Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence (Denver Metro)
Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence (SPAN) is the domestic violence non-profit serving Boulder and Broomfield counties, providing 360 degrees of wrap-around support and services, including some of the only shelter beds for DV survivors in an area with a population of more than 392,000.

GRASP-Gang Rescue and Support Project (Denver Metro)
At GRASP, it is our mission to heal the intergenerational trauma in our community by utilizing Healing-informed, relationship-centered Culturally Rooted practices. Healed people Heal People. We make it a priority to serve and provide educational and programming opportunities that focus on reducing racial and ethnic disparities in all our educational platforms. All our programs and community outreach services help to improve the safety and health of our communities through jobs and wellness.

Boulder Food Rescue (Denver Metro)
Boulder Food Rescue works towards a more just and less wasteful food system. We facilitate distribution of surplus food from grocery stores to No Cost Grocery Programs (NCGPs): community-led, community-based, community-run food distribution points that exist to mitigate food access barriers.

Colorado Farm to Table (Northwest)
Our purpose is to grow, harvest, and distribute fresh produce at no cost to food banks, soup kitchens and pantries, feeding families in need across Colorado. The farm is rooted in stewardship, community, and compassion for the hungry, where every Coloradan in need has equitable access to fresh, nutritious Colorado grown produce.

Village Exchange Center (Denver Metro)
VEC is a community center and multi-faith worship space that celebrates religious and cultural diversity by creating an inclusive environment where residents from all backgrounds can practice, interact, share, and develop together. We are a hub for programs, organizations, and services that empower and support immigrants, refugees, and low-income community members. Food security is a primary concern for our community members, and central to our Village Pantry and our Village Farm.

Birdseed Collective (Denver Metro)
Birdseed Collective/Globeville Center’s main goal is to continuously serve the inner Globeville community by providing a weekly Free Healthy Food Distribution Program in a box format. Even though our center is closed “Hunger does not take a Holiday” and neither do we. We hope to keep our community healthy and self-sustained with no food insecurity. Most families are in the low to extremely low poverty level. We also serve a large population of homeless.

Durango Food Bank (Southwest)
The mission of the Durango Food Bank is to Work in collaboration with our community to feed and empower our neighbors in need.

SECORCares (Denver Metro)
At SECORCares we are committed to breaking the chains of poverty by building a community of dedicated, caring people working together to end food insecurity, while restoring hope and livelihood to those experiencing it. Through multiple outreaches we work holistically to address food insecurity and strive to overcome any barriers preventing people from having access to food.

Kids at their Best (North Central)
Continue to build out our small-scale system reaching 900+people within Morgan County to address chronic hunger needs exacerbated by the pandemic. The district is a rural food desert, with numerous language and cultural barriers – 98% of KATB kids qualify for free and reduced lunch.

Friends of Longmont Youth (Denver Metro)
We aim to expand access to food assistance programs and healthy, culturally-aware food for underserved communities in Longmont. To achieve this, we will utilize our network of local organizations, on-the-ground cultural brokers, and established relationships within the communities we serve.

Broomfield WIC Program (Denver Metro)
WIC’s mission statement is “To safeguard the health of low-income women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk by providing nutritious foods to supplement diets, information on healthy eating, and referrals to health care.”

Ekar Farm (Denver Metro)
Ekar works to create a more equitable food system through: a) training young farmers and growing and donating over 20,000 pounds of culturally relevant produce annually to food pantry and hunger relief partners, b) increasing neighborhood/hyper-local food security by supporting 18 community and pre-K gardens and over 400 gardeners throughout the front range to grow (and donate) their own food c)engaging over 5000 individuals a year in food growing and food equity programming

To provide food, resource navigation, education, and life skills to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged residents of Aurora through collaboration and cooperation with nonprofits, private agencies, and individual contributors

Fighting to Farm (Northeast)
Fighting to Farm’s mission is to increase food security and food justice in underserved and underrepresented communities in Colorado that are often overlooked. Fighting to Farm supports local farmers by procuring meat and produce directly from local farmers and ranchers for distribution and delivery to low-income seniors, people of color, and people with disabilities.

Herbal Garden Wellness (Statewide)
HGW was established to create, together, One Community of Intersections of Native Cultural Diversity, Equitable Health and Wellness Access including environmental preservation for current and future generations. To protect inherent rights of Indigenous and Native Populations including health and wellness, environmental preservation and research, and to build capacity for current and future Native and Indigenous generations.

San Luis Valley Local Foods Coalition (SLVLFC) (Southwest)
SLVLFC’s mission is to foster an equitable local food system that restores the health of the people, community, economy and ecosystem. This project is focused on building food sovereignty through mostly immigrant family farm plots and poultry production in the San Luis Valley.

Four Corners Food Coalition (Fiscal Sponsor: Good Samaritan Center) (Southwest)
The Coalition convenes dialogue, resource and information sharing to support grassroots localized and sovereign food systems across our region. We offer a food and funds program that supports grassroots groups to meet their rural communities' food needs. IBPOC are served first in everything we do.

Food Connect Colorado (Denver Metro)
Our mission is "Reducing food waste by sharing reclaimed food with people in need in our local community." We have a dual mission: not only providing food, but doing it with quality rescued food. The free food we receive is distributed via our weekly mobile market in Aurora to anyone in need.

Denver Sisters Circle (Denver Metro)
The Denver Sisters Circle is a Denver-based cultural organization of African American women focused on the empowerment, growth, health and wellness of women and children of color in Colorado. The group supports these women and children through the distribution and delivery of food and other essentials items.

Mountain Resource Center (Denver Metro)
The mission of Mountain Resource Center (MRC) is to strengthen its community with services that empower people. MRC was founded in 1990 to promote self-sufficiency, economic stability, and improve the quality of life for mountain residents living in the rural, foothill region west of Denver. Mountain Resource Center’s services create a continuum of care that addresses both short and long-term needs. In 2020, MRC served 1,143 clients.

Gunnison Watershed School District (West Central)
The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) aims to provide and improve access to free breakfast and lunch for children 18 and younger.

Canon City Golden Age Council (Pikes Peak)
The mission of the Canon City Golden Age Council is to enhance the lives of individuals in our region who are aging, disabled, economically challenged, and veterans.

Kaizen Food Rescue (Denver Metro)
Forty percent of the food supply in the U.S. is wasted, more than 20 pounds of food per person per month (NRDC, 2017). With over 50% of BIPOC Coloradans going hungry (HFC, 2020) Kaizen Food Rescue aims to end food waste, and so improve food justice and create health equity in the Denver-Metro area.

FRESH Foundation (West Central)
Our goal is to increase access to local food for those experiencing food insecurity. We plan to grow the local food system through a three-pronged approach: 1) subsidizing local producers to donate to food banks 2) providing new avenues for community members to use SNAP and Double Up Bucks, and 3) educating people on how to prepare meals using local produce.

Ute Mountain Ute Tribe Community Health Department (Southwest)
Mission Statement: To reduce food inequality and to promote health and healing during the COVID-19 pandemic by providing access, education, and awareness around healthy fresh food to members of the Ute Mountain Ute Tribal community utilizing a no-contact delivery system.

The Cool Choice (Denver Metro)
The Cool Choice mission is to provide individuals and families opportunities to live, eat and play well. We offer programs and services that provides food support, culinary development, gardening skills and nutrition education to underserved resident in the Denver Metro and Aurora communities.
